Life Legacy

Christine (Herring) MacPherson, 58, of Unadilla, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010. For several years Christine courageously and stoically battled breast cancer.
Christine was born May 30, 1951, in Stamford, the daughter of Hobart and Helen (Cook) Herring.

Her generosity, patience, upbeat personality, and cooking made her home a second home for many of her daughter's friends. Christine was a passionate animal lover who delighted in her pets.
For the past 10 years, Christine and her grandchildren returned annually to Chincoteague Island, Va., to observe the wild horses of Assateague.
Christine is survived by two loving daughters, Kelly MacPherson of Oneonta, and Heather Cole of Sidney. Christine referred to the trio as the three musketeers.
