Lynn C. Hall

Lynn C. Hall, 99, of Oneonta passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at the A.O. Fox Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 20, 1910, in Oxford, he was the son of the late George and Ella May (Eggleston) Hall.
Lynn married Elizabeth F. Shutters on Aug. 27, 1933, in Downsville. She died in January 1997.
He worked for the Town of Oneonta Highway Department as a truck driver until he retired in 1965. He also owned and operated a dairy farm. He retired from the farm in 1976.
He was a member of the Southside Wesleyan Church and a former member of the board of trustees of the church, a member of the Otsego County Farm Bureau and the Eastern Artificial Breeders Association.
Lynn is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Archuletta of Colorado; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, Harold L. Hall; and two daughters, Linda L. Northup and Ida M. Pickney.
Family will receive friends at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Santamont, Pastor of the Southside Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
